다음 주 목요일(미국 시간 11/10)은, PS4 Pro의 날이다. 두 달 전에 뉴욕 이벤트에서 발표 된, Sony의 게임기의 이 파워 업 버전은 4K 대응, 다이나믹 레인지의 큰 게임을 상정하고 있다. 스펙도 업하여 8코어 x86-64 AMD Jaguar CPU를 사용, 또한 GPU는 렌더링 속도가 첫 번째 PS4의 배, 그리고 하드 디스크는 1TB이다.
이 고사양 기기에 최적화 된 게임 목록은 아직 발표되지 않았지만, 처음에 나오는 것은 40개 미만인것 같다. 그것들은 Call of Duty : Infinite Warfare 같은 새로운 기능을 처음부터 사용하고 있는 녀석과 Pro의 파워에 맞게 업데이트 된 구작과 혼합된 것.
회사는 지금 분명, 여러가지 게임 스튜디오의 엉덩이를 부추기고 있다. 그리고 올해에는 Pro용으로 개작 된 타이틀이 새롭게 45개가 참가한다. Watch Dogs 2 Killing Floor 2, The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy XV등이다. Nioh, Resident Evil 7(바이오 해저드)는 내년 초로 된다. Sony 독자적인 타이틀이 나오는 것은 2017년 내로....
